writerjess: Robin Hood OTP ~ Guy & Marian Yes, I know there is no Robin Hood without Robin/Marian, but this BBC version gave me—and I know several others—the blessing/curse that is Guy/Marian. These two stubborn characters had so many great dialogues together. Their chemistry was seriously astounding. They could be arguing one moment then having a tender scene the next. Sure, Guy was a bit sadistic (especially with the whole killing Marian), but I believe a part of him truly, truly loved her. It was the classic jealously choice of “if I can’t have you, no one can.” Bad judgment on Guy’s part, but we all know he was haunted by it in Season 3. And even though Marian & Robin are living a happy afterlife, we Guy/Marian fans will always have that scene where she walks in on him shirtless and couldn’t help but get a little touchy-feely ;-) If you want to know what I mean, just watch this video made by the always mesmerizing Kerry. Day 07 - The most heartbreaking scene? The series 2 finale of BBC’s Robin Hood. Behold: Marian: Hey, Guy, even though I know you have trust issues, and even though I’ve broken through that barrier and gotten you to trust me over the course of two years, and even though you went to the ends of the earth to protect my secret identity from your boss, and even though you risked your life to save mine last week, and even though I’m the one person who was able to make you realize that you are a good person, because you love me, and even though the one person in the world that you hate because he’s constantly undermining you and making you look the fool is Robin Hood, guess what? I’M GOING TO MARRY ROBIN HOOD, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
