Contrary to what Internet hipsters think, I think that Shinedown is an underrated band that has some really awesome songs (aka just about everything on the Sound of Madness). I also think that Rebecca Black is awesome and should be commended for having the guts to follow her dreams after all of the poop she went through. Final music opinion: Korean pop at this moment in time is much better than American pop.

Shinedown: AGREE, although I have to add the caveat that I have a personal bias since my cousin is a band member. (I didn’t know internet hipsters didn’t like them… oops…)

Rebecca Black: agree!

Korean pop: no idea? I’ve never heard any Korean pop.

(I realise I broke the “only use agree/disagree” rules on two of them, I’m a rogue, I break all the rules :D)

There are some days when things get so bad that all I can think is, "I could get in my car right now and drive to Houston."

My soon-to-be mother-in-law, who has been like a mother to me for over eight years, is in Houston undergoing treatment for leukemia. She’s been sick since February.

I was supposed to marry her son on 8 October, but she would miss the wedding, so we are in the process of rescheduling it. 

Whenever I start feeling bad about myself, I talk to her, and she makes me feel stronger. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met.
